Session Summary

Our lovely planet Earth is where we live , but do you know enough about this planet? Do you know where it is located or how it looks like and do you have what it takes to “Dig in” to find out more? Well, in this session we will discuss Earth’s location, atmospheric layers along with it’s own layers.

Session Keywords

Galaxy: A system of millions or billions of stars, together with gas and dust, held together by gravitational attraction.

Atmosphere: The envelope of gases surrounding the earth or another planet.

Crust: The crust is the thin outer layer of the Earth where we live

Mantle: The mantle is much thicker than the crust at almost 3000km deep.

The core: It is divided into outer core and inner core.
